Fall Hike and Breakfast at Julien's Farm Store Eastern Barndoor Hill rises 650 feet high in the McLean Game Refuge in Northern Connecticut and is easily reached via a short hiking trail. The trail isn't too strenuous, but steep sections begin near the base of the mountain. This activity is appropriate for beginners and intermediate hikers. It's a great opportunity to get outdoors and enjoy nature! After our hike, join us for breakfast at Julien's Farm Store, located just down the street from the trailhead. CT Science Center Six graders have a great opportunity to explore the Connecticut Science Center. Students will be about to explore exhibits like forces and motion, sight and sound, and the best Sharks. Other areas that students will interact with are the Health Lab, Changing Earth’s Surfaces, Exploring Space, and more. These activities and experiences all line up with what students will be learning in science throughout the school year and beyond.
